Minding Our Bodies and Health Equity and Race Ontario present

Equity in Action: Planning Physical Activity and Healthy Eating Programs
for Marginalized Communities

Explore the intersection(s) of equity and anti-racism with physical activity, healthy eating, and mental health.

This forum is intended for decision makers, program managers and frontline workers in community agencies serving marginalized communities, including leaders in the mental health, settlement, nutrition, and physical activity sectors.

  • Hear from program leaders who run recovery-focused physical activity and healthy eating programs.
  • Learn about health equity impact assessment tools and mental health promotion strategies.
  • Network with other organizations serving marginalized communities in the Ottawa area.

Space is limited.

Breakfast and lunch is included in the $35 registration fee.
Subsidized tickets available for people with lived experience of mental illness.
